Welcome to Our School Community
Monument View Montessori Charter School is a public charter school providing an inspired and high quality Montessori education for the Grand Valley. Along with language arts and mathematics, our students will learn history, geography, science, and the arts. Our goal is to create an environment where all students believe in their endless potential. We are a group of educators, parents, and community members who have come together to build a school community that encourages students to become self-motivated, lifelong learners.
Students in preschool through elementary will be emersed in a learning culture grounded in the Montessori collaborative approaches to community and leadership. The foundation of this academic excellence is a prepared classroom environment that inspires self-paced, individualized discovery, a love of learning, and respect for self, others and the environment. Montessori education is unique in that it is truly a community endeavor with fully involved parents who work in tandem with teachers, the head of school, and the Board of Directors to ensure the best possible education for the children.
