SUMMARY:MVMCS Hiking Club - Fruita Paleo Area + Skinner Cabin
DESCRIPTION:The MVMCS Hiking Club will be meeting at 1 pm on Saturday\, February 22\, for the next group hike (weather permitting) at the Fruita Paleo Area trailhead. We will first hike the Fruita Paleo Area (~0.7-mile loop)\, followed by the Skinner Cabin Trail (~1.8 mile loop\, off the paleo area trail). Twenty vivid\, artistic renderings help to interpret the area’s geologic and paleontological history. \nhttps://goo.gl/maps/UUtc3WZS4hmbYHVw9 \nPlease note: parents are expected to accompany their children.  Come prepared with layers – particularly gloves and a hat\, and warm\, sturdy shoes. Please also bring a pack with water and snacks. One or both of our hike leaders will carry a first aid kit.
